I know Obama wouldn't of stayed with Bill
given the same situation. You can't choose your family members but you can choose your spouse.

26. Since his entire political career....
Started w/ that Church and the community (I think Obama may have said he was an organizer or something. I will have to look it up. I think he only said it once though...)...it is more relevant than Hill + Bill = bad marriage.

4. You do realize that the GOP will attack her non-stop on this.
To quote HRC supporters: It's better that this is vetted NOW instead of later.

10. LOL. I've heard a LOT of ridiculous things here-
but given the host of Republicans in far WORSE situations, that one really takes the cake.

14. No, I don't think the GOP will go after anyone's marriage

People in glass houses and all.

Edited for spelling. I've read the other posts and I'm scared. :)

25. Is McCain any different than Rove/Bush?
I really feel like Rove is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to morals. John McCain doesn't seem to be quite that bad. I remember the scene in the 2000 primary debate when he said that Bush should be ashamed of himself. Or is the whole GOP appartus to blame for swiftboating and the racist Harold Ford ads?

8. A woman who allows herself to be abused that way
over and over again, well yeah, it is our business. Giuliani and Thompson's floozies hurt their campaigns, why shouldn't her acceptance of Bill's shenanigans be given the same treatment.

11. Very true. But neither are Obama's reasons for keeping Wright as his pastor.
I don't believe the Clintons owe us any explanation for the marriage, nor do I believe Barack should have had to defend his deeply personal relationship with Rev. Wright. I have never in my life seen this happen to a politician, and that includes ones with ties to truly hateful preachers.

17. Obama's church is none of Hilliary's business either.
But that didn't stop Hilliary. And her politically-expedient opinion of Obama and his pastor have been formed based on a few sound bytes, so that makes her look nosy, gullible, and desperate.

Hilliary is in no position to throw stones.

But I had to break that rule when someone tried to tell me about the TENANTS of liberation theology.
