27. I take it as her negatives
As expected, one of the two major Democratic candidates saw a downturn in the latest NBC/WSJ poll, but it's not the candidate that you think. Hillary Clinton is sporting the lowest personal ratings of the campaign. Moreover, her 37% positive rating is the lowest the NBC/WSJ poll has recorded since March 2001, two months after she was elected to the U.S. Senate from New York.

She's getting into Bush range.

10. OK:
Edited on Wed Mar-26-08 06:20 PM by jenmito
Hillary's positives went from 45% 3/12 to 37% now (3/24-25th) and her negatives went from 43% to 48% in the same time.

Obama's positives went from 51% 3/12 to 49% now and his negatives went from 28% to 32% in the same time-not NEARLY as much damage for all he's been through.

ALSO-same dates-Hillary was at 47% to Obama's 43% and now they're tied at 45%. (NBC News/WSJ Poll.

Clinton v Obama even at 45%

last numbers Clinton was up 47 43 so for the first time in this poll Obama is even with her

Obama v McCain Obama wins 44-42

Last numbers he won 47-44 so a 1% slide there.

Clinton v McCain McCain wins 46-44

Last time Clinton won 47-45 so she slipped 4%

11. He is stomping her in the west and midwest
He lost "southern, rural older whites"

This is where Hillary is stronger--with downgrade, southern, rural, prejudiced older whites. If we are depending on them, we will most surely fail in the GE. They may support Hillary now, but they will vote for McCain in the GE. Plus, we are not gonna win these southern states anyway. And, if you really want to get technical, Obama won overall among Democrats in the South due to the large AA vote.

24. Not enough of them.. the undecideds are more than enough for Obama to win
Chuck Todd said yesterday that if they split all the remaining pledged delegates 50-50 she would need 72% of remaining SD to win.
