Gregory: Clinton better positioned for GE. Matthews: Obama better positioned for GE.
I just turned on teevee, and caught David Gregory's show at the end. Good news for Clinton, bad news for Obama, he said -- she holds more Democrats for the GE than Obama.

Then about three seconds later, Tweety's show begins. Bad news for Clinton, good news for Obama. He wins against McCain, she doesn't.

Did I hear something wrong?!?

:wtf:

6. Oh yeah, Joe's disdain for Obama is getting pretty nasty, almost like Buchanan's.
I think Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough and Pat Bukkkanan are getting pretty scared at the prospect of facing Obama in the fall.

20. Did you catch any of "Morning Joe" today?
Toward the end, he and Mika talked about some bitter fight they had last week. She said she was literally holding her hands over her childrens' ears while she screamed at him!

It was a pretty fascinating insight, actually. And I thought it was clear they brought Tiki Barber on at the end of last week just to calm Joe the fuck down. His bias was showing, and his program was morphing into "Fox and Friends."

Having him gone for a few days was great.

It was a very weird sign-off/sign-on.

17. Joe seems to think that because more of hillary's voters would vote
for McCain, it means that Obama loses more support among Democrats. I just sent him an email, explaining that fewer of Obama's voters voting for McCain, also means that a lot of Obama voters won't vote at all. Duh. That is not reflected in the poll he likes to cite.

19. Exactly, saw it, Joe Scarborough was the one making the claim.
Joe's been on a big "I Heart Hillary!" campaign ever since the Rev. Wright thing happened. He's scared shitless about Obama, and it's showing.

2. I believe it was Joe who said that...but they are looking at two different polls
Joe is using the Gallup poll and tweety is using the NBC poll.

9. Are they that different?
I haven't been paying close attention. At this point, do they both beat McCain, or not?

11. They both lose to McCain by 2 in the Gallup, Obama wins by 2 in NBC and Hillary loses by 2
But among dems in the NBC poll, both lose an equal amount of support to McCain in the general, while in Gallup, Obama loses 9% more of her voters than she does of his.

12. Thanks for the info.
Yup, I guess that can all be spun in different ways.

The main theme is: We'll have work to do going into the GE.

10. Joe said that I think
I really hate that guy. He always feels the need to disrespect us folks in California and New York. He calls us "liberal elitists." He always talks up the folks in Ohio, PA, and Florida. We're Americans too! What a jerk.
