Obama Campaign Contribution Predictions for March 2008
Obama has almost 2 million donors. Last month he crossed the 1 million donor threshold. Does this mean that he got an additional 1 million donors just in the month of March? This is unprecedented. What does that mean for his totals for March? The number that comes out could be STAGGERING.

What are your predictions?

I predict, somewhere between 55-70 million.

3. But what do you think about
the additional 1 million donors? He seems to be collecting more $$$ each month as this goes along. It seems like the more he is attacked, the more money he gets. He raised, what, 55 million last month? He has to go higher than that considering that he doubled his donor list in just one month.

5. It may not be 2M
I read, um, on Politico maybe, or TPM, that there has been a technical problem with the ticker. Until they confirm the numbers, I wouldn't rely on 2M.

4. Hillary was at a fundraiser today in NY
She is trying to scrape the sides of the jelly jar right now. She is desperate for cash, but the cash keeps a rolling in for OBama. I've received TWO contribution requests in the last three days from Obama. I'm trying to win that dinner. :P

8. Me too, I sent mine and one for my Mom too
Maybe one of us will get lucky.

I wish it would be a dinner for ten or 25 or 50 for that matter.
I just want to be in the room with him.

10. He should have a Barack Party (maybe black tie?) for just
regular people. People who donate $5 will have the same chance to attend like people who donate $2300. It should be for maybe 200-300 people. One in each upcoming major city! He'll raise a ton of dough that way.

12. That would be the coolest thing!
Even if he stopped by for 10 minutes on the way to a Rally, I'd pay.

11. Obama in the Big Apple tomorrow being introduced by
Michael Bloomberg at an Economic address.

Do you think any of hilary's big money donors wonder if there money is going down the proverbial drain?

13. The 2 million donor thing seems too-good-to-be-true (that fast.)
Edited on Thu Mar-27-08 12:00 AM by Eric J in MN
It's based on going to a meter on a webpage which the campaign didn't intend the public to keep using. Maybe they unintentionally let it become innacurate.

Until the Obama campaign announces 2 million donors, I won't believe it.
