Used to be you couldn't always tell when Bill Clinton was SHOVELING THE SHIT...
But now it's plain as day.

Are you catching that clip of the Big Dog saying you shouldn't be in politics if you don't want to get beaten up???

Wonder if he'll change his tune now that Hillary got beaten up in the polls for that kind of thinking.

1. I'm a little bitter that my idealist crush on the big dog has been
shattered. He was the first president I was really "aware" of, the first I voted for, and now he just makes me sad:(

7. It's really disappointing...
But I don't know if I'm more disappointed in him for changing, or in me for ever buying his lines.

13. I don't hate him - I actually feel sorry for both Clintons...
...it's not fun to watch them behaving this way.

3. I'm almost certain I heard this same sentiment about Bill Clinton expressed
by his hapless republican opponents in their right-wing generated smears of the Clintons in the '90's. How refreshing to have that nonsense recreated here in our Democratic refuge.

9. I read the OP's premise differently
that she (or he) is saddened by the way this campaign is turning out-making half the party really lose respect for the Clinton's with these kitchen sink tactics

24. If Obama one day becomes something completely different...
...than what we thought we were working for ~ I'll post something similar. I worked for Bill Clinton's campaigns, and now I don't know if I was conned or if he's changed ~ but I sure wouldn't have worked for THIS guy.

6. I can pick on him for many things he's said recently, but not this...
He is right. And obviously he said this AFTER Hillary has been picked on quite a bit during her campaign. During his campaign and both terms too!

He is absolutely right about this. The election process, by design or by flaw, fully vets the candidates. As it should be, so it shall be.

8. When Bill Said that we were all about arguing.......that really, really turned me off.....
that's what he's into maybe. Me, I prefer taking care of the people's business, and when not doing that, talking about the people's business.

23. Hard to tell.......
but the Repugs did try to have him impeached. Maybe there was stuff that we just weren't seeing......cause they were smiling in our faces.

But when you actually review the track record of what got passed and what didn't during that administration, and you remember the image below....maybe we just didn't want to see it.

19. It's hard to repaint self interest as something other than what it
is. You can put lipstick on a pig but in the end you still have a pig. This statement shall not be misconstrued to mean anything more or less than exactly what is states. This is not a personal attack on anyone, it strictly means that you can dress up what you are trying to do with your words and deeds, but when your own start to back away, it's time to think about what you are doing and try to get back on the high road, but please don't inhale....heh. :)

21. Speaking of beating up.
He isn't exactly handling arguments well himself. He stuck his finger in the face of an Obama supporter where he was brushing the supporters face with his pointing finger. This went on for a few minutes.

:wow:
