DNC should let the Clintons know that their potential chances in 2012 are slim
I'm not going to accuse Hillary of such cynical and miserable politicking, but if she indeed is contemplating a "let the house burn down" path of destroying Obama's and the Democrats' chances in 2008, then the DNC should send the message that it will do everything in its power to end the political career of the Clintons, and will definitely do everything in its power to promote a non-Clinton as the party front-runner.

1. I don't like to think that thinking is a possibility.
Plus, I think she has zero chance after this run. That is why they are fighting so hard.

2. This goes beyond any candidate or party.
Our country is THIS CLOSE to a collapse. What is it going to take to make those power freaks in Washington acknowledge the big picture?

3. I thought she was hoping the house would burn down in 2004 so she could take it in 2008.
Forget 2012. She will be nothing more than a senator from NY with no hope of any leadership position in the Senate after what she has done to the party and its hope of winning the White House back this year.

4. I am convinced that's the Clinton plan. McCain to win in 2008, and the Clintons can run again 2012.
That's politics.

5. we democrats have long memories
after the conduct of the campaign i would say her chances of actually having a shot at the nomination in 2012 are 0. four years won't be enough to undo the damage and rebuild the bridges she'd burned in the last 4 weeks. we're still bitchin' about 2000. there's no way we're gonna forget last tuesday.
