3. I used to but then I strarted reading up on him

after getting into conversations with people who are more radical politically. They made total fools of me and I eventually had to admit the facts were on their side. I used to like him before I found out about the DLC and how he took the party to the Right.

but he's been a really shitty ex president. His insecurities and desire to rub elbows with the elite have gotten the better of him and a lot of us would like him to just STFU and disappear.

really done a job on this country. It has caused Dems to eat Dems. Clinton was the best Pres. since Kennedy. He's brilliant, especially considering all the crap he and Hill had to go thru. And here we are today, people out of work, those who do still have jobs, their wages aren't keeping up with the cost of gas, groc, property taxes, property ins., everything is raising except wages, but no we dare not elect someone that could possibly guide us out of this mess we're in. BO sure doesn't have the knowledge to do it.

I was a world-traveler (for work) during his 8 years in office, and those were very nice times to be an American. I/We were greeted very nicely, and I was unashamed of the actions of my President reflecting badly on our whole national reputation. When Bill Clinton spoke, I felt he was trying to pull us together as Americans, and as citizens of the world. There's another candidate talking like that these days, too.

Also, as I was born in 1962, the Presidents I can recall (say, since age 8ish) were Nixon, Ford, Carter, ReaganX2, BushI, ClintonX2 and Dubya(amazingly, twice.) I loved Carter, and felt he was and is a man of peace and integrity and a uniter...and name an ex-president (besides, arguably Al Gore) who has continued with such vigor to serve in public life. In 45 years I really can count---of course giving props to the final JFK year---two great presidents that I remember, Carter & Clinton, 12 years between the two of 'em.
