Guys, Dick Morris is a liar. Don't believe anything he says unless you have a quote and a link.

I walked into a thread where people were bashing Clinton for "lying about Chelsea's whereabouts on 9/11." The fact that Morris did not have a quote from Clinton raised my suspicions. As it turns out, Morris is the liar here, not Clinton.

http://mediamatters.org/items/200803250010

Summary: Dick Morris falsely claimed that Sen. Hillary Clinton "says Chelsea was in danger on 9-11, jogging around the towers of the World Trade Center and was saved only 'cause she ducked into a coffee shop." In fact, Hillary Clinton made no such claim; rather, she said that her daughter had "gone, what she thought would be just a great jog. She was going to go down to Battery Park, she was going to go around the towers. She went to get a cup of coffee and -- and that's when the plane hit."

Now, Dick Morris is an embarrassment to the Clintons--but only because they saw fit to hire that right-wing filthball as a strategist, and not because he's pointing out anything remotely true about them. Don't spread his shit.

3. Thanks Occam Bandage
It's useful to know the truth. It never surprises me when I see you act with integrity on this board. I do not take it for granted though I have come to expect it from you.

5. As an Obama supporter, and someone who's had a tangle or two with you in the past...
Thank you for this. Lies don't help anybody's position.

Appearing on NBC's DATELINE, Sen. Hillary Clinton told how daughter Chelsea cheated death on that fateful morning.

"She had gone on what she thought would be a great jog," Hillary Clinton explained. "She was going down to Battery Park, she was going to go around the towers. She was going to get a cup of coffee and - that's when the plane hit!"

Hillary's dramatic story about her daughter's close call with the Twin Towers became a media sensation.

"At that moment, she was not just a Senator, but a concerned parent," TODAY show's Katie Couric told viewers.

But now, in her own words, Chelsea does not mention a jog. Does not mention her plans to go to Battery Park, around the towers -- only to be stopped by a coffee break.

In fact, Chelsea writes that she was at her friend's apartment on Park Avenue South -- miles from Ground Zero -- when she learned of the attacks!

"I stared senselessly at the television," Chelsea writes.

Calls to Senator Clinton went unreturned on Friday.

9. I had the chance to run over that jerk with my car (in DC in the mid 90s).
Jaywalked right in front of me on Pennsylvania Ave. next to the Hart Senate Office Building.

Talk about missed opportunites. :banghead:

10. Not just a liar
But incessantly, invariably wrong in his political analyses. The only reason he isn't a 7-11 manager since the toe-sucking incident is because the media outlets like to keep him around as a Clinton anklebiter.
