But more than likely, both Rev Wright and Obama know that the MSM will look for any excuse to replay the inflammatory snippets from his sermons. Ideally, Rev Wright's sermons would be shown in context followed by an honest discussion and critique of what he said. I seem to recall someone doing a pretty good job with the discussion part. But, as far as the sermons go, it's not like the MSM is going to suddenly abandon the shock and entertainment value of sound bites and risk stressing the attention span of their viewers with the concept of context.
So, the safest thing to do is to aviod feeding the dogs and keep Rev Wright out of the spotlight as much as possible.
Soundguy, that might not work if he announces, "I don't want to draw attention to myself!".
So, I agree with your skepticism about the cancellations, but I would not question his Christianity based on this. Turns out, the church is full of sinners. It's actually part of the package.
