MSNBC is about to do a story on how people think about Wright
It should be on in the next minute or so. Is this where they want Obama to do another race speech?

9. That's exactly what it is. There's no other word for it, at this point. These
are not his words, these are not his views--he already SAID so, numerous times. They're trying to hold him responsible for every utterance this man has ever made. It's unbelievable.

5. CAN THEY COVER ANY REAL ISSUES???
There are more important issues than what some preacher said 10 years ago.

Really.

There are.

6. The MSM is in full attack mode against Obama.
The MSM has received its marching orders to pretend Iraq never happened.

These are the same bastards that ran with the swift boat bullshit.

The last successful swiftboat attacks were before the progressive blogs got going. The MSM media has to watch the blogs now...
?Things are changing...and we're not going back.

Condem these faux news networks that just repeat gossip and lies all day long.

We as citizens will do all we can do to end their hold on America; they have had far tooooo much influence in politics and government.

16. Anti-Clinton rumblings among superdelegates, lies about...
sniper-fire and ducking and running, plunging Hillary poll numbers - all point to the possibility that the gravy train may leave the tracks before the PA primary - and the MSM can't make that work for their balance sheets. IMO, government, such as it is, has toooo much influence on the MSM.

7. It's not a big deal folks
How many people are actually watching right now anyway? Their site makes no obvious mention of it either, let them play it out, Obama has proven to rise above this and the media will get this turned around on them if they keep it up. The ratings have already been milked for this and the last couple of days have been rather slow in politics so they don't have a lot do play up.

8. Good point...
If anything, people will be even more worn out on the issue than they were before. In a way, they are doing Obama a favor.

10. That's kind of how I looked at it too...
I don't really see any other channel covering it either.

I was initially shocked by the videos, now its just redundant and overdone imo.

I actually heard a reporter on CNN say that Obama hopes to exhaust the issue...

12. I agree.... it's March.... its 4 weeks til the next voting.....
...let this garbage play out now....

It's innoculating Obama against the issue later.

I guarantee the GOP wanted to use Wright as an "October surprise." They shot they're wad early.... or were forced to.

I still submit that the Obama camp got this stuff out there NOW, because NOW is the time when it will do the least damage to them.

It was going to come out.... so a campaign's job is to make sure it comes out at a time that is most beneficial to the candidate.

- a month before any voting takes place, and that voting will take place in a state that Obama wasn't likely to win anyway

- 6 months before the convention and 8 months before the election. There's an ENTIRE baseball season to be played, including the World Series, between now and the GE. That's so far away as to make anything that happens now utterly meaningless.

Let MSNBC play this all out now..... Much better than springing it on the campaign in October.

18. i was thinking the same about
the Obama campaign maybe pushing this stuff out now..the stuff that's making it into the mainstream is all stuff that COULD have come out before Iowa or super Tuesday or Texas/Ohio but, conveniently, it's happening now rather than back then or a few days before PA or in October...if it was something they HAD to deal with, now is the BEST possible time because they have time...

13. Oh and I guess CNN is waiting to jump
on the bandwagon because they are trying to figure out if this will only damage "their girl" Hillary even more. If they figure out it will cause a dip in Obama's numbers they will jump on the bandwagon asap.

14. Andrea Mitchell is ramming this story through. Anything to distract from her HUSBAND'S clusterfuck
on the economy. She said she stayed up ALL NIGHT reading past church bulletins.

Any coincidence she was pouring over them the night before Obama's economic speech?

This crap is beyond ridiculous at this point.

15. You have hit the Rusty Old Nail...
right on the head. I want to see more about Obama's speech on the economy, which shows that he knows more about it than McCain, Clinton, and the entire Republican Party put together.
