At Least 8 Of Those Who Threatened Nancy With Non-Contributions Haven't Made A Donation
Since she became speaker. What 2+ years? Jeez don’t they know that influence pedaling involves cash and if you’re going to make threats at least have your bucks behind you to back you up. Or didn’t they think that anyone would pull out the tally sheet? How dumb is that?

“The brazen move by Camp Clinton stunned veteran Democrats, particularly because at least eight of the letter's authors have not donated to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee since Pelosi became speaker.”

2. A bunch of them donated to Lieberman.

"The plutocracy, the "Independent Democrats," and the Clinton Illuminati are joining forces. Major donors to the DCCC are threatening to withdraw their support if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to suggest that superdelegates should follow the will of the voters. A majority of the signatories to the letter of protest are Lieberman donors: Marc Aronchick ($1,000), Robert Johnson ($2,000), Chris Korge ($1,000), Marc Lasry ($4,100), Alan Patricof ($3,500), JB Pritzker ($500), Haim Saban ($15,600), Bernard Schwartz ($12,500), Stanley Shuman ($3,000), and Steven Rattner ($8,200)."

11. You Don't Think The Coffers Are Built Up Between Elections?
Why then, did the others, apparently, contribute?

14. Right.
I think that there are plenty of DUers who have have contact with the DCCC in the past two years. I think it silly for anyone to pretend there have not been fund-raising activities since Pelosi has been Speaker.

16. Except that many of us have sent back 'empty donation's to the DCCC for a different reason!
NO IMPEACHMENT, NO MONEY, and YOU will pay the price of postage!

It's amusing for all of their envelopes to ask people to put their own postage on their donations to cut their costs... Evidently they must not like a lot of people like me sending empty envelopes back and showing up a lot higher postage costs than what they get in terms of numbers of contributions.

I also like to amuse postal workers with my comments next to theirs on the envelope.

12. There's always a congressional race going on.
They're up for reelection every 2 years. The fundraising for the next term starts from the moment they take the oath for the current one.
