I accept Hillary Clinton and I accept Barack Obama. I accept Barack Obama and I accept Hillary Clinton.

I absolutely reject the current neo-con administration.

I reject the republican mindset that women should no longer have control over their bodies.
I reject Bush’s war in Iraq and McCain’s promise to continue the killing and destruction for another 100 years or more.
I reject the Bush regime's foreign policy (or lack of) and it’s obsession with the destruction of Iran.
I reject Bush's callous disregard for life on this planet and especially his disregard for the lives of U.S. citizens and Iraqis.
I reject republican recklessness and lack of consciousness, particularly when it concerns education, economics and energy.
I reject the irrational and irresponsible republican expenditure of U.S. blood and treasure.
I reject the neo-con assault on our freedoms and on the Constitution and on the Bill of Rights.
I reject the traitorous neo-con infiltration and near destruction of Congress and our Justice Department.

And I completely and irrevocably reject the horrifying possibility that the Bush toady, John McCain, could actually win the 2008 election, effectively extending the Bush reign for at least another four years.

Impossible you say? Not if enough members of the Democratic Party are actually willing to allow the Bush nightmare of the last 8 years to continue simply because “their” candidate does not get the nomination.

It seems to me that the angry contention and rancorous back-biting that has been escalating within the Democratic Party lately could have been taken from a page in Karl Rove’s “How to keep the republican party in control for the next 100 years” manual.

Our enemy is NOT Barack Obama. Our enemy is NOT Hillary Clinton. Our enemy is NOT the Democratic Party. Our enemy is NOT Chelsea Clinton. Our enemy is the self-righteous delusion, the destructive insanity of the “my candidate or none’ attitude. I am sick to my soul when I hear people say that if their candidate does not get the nomination they will vote for McCain, or even worse - that they will cast their vote for Nader or not vote at all.

How can any sane progressive forget the neo-con stealth assault that continues on our Constitution? How could any Democrat forget how the Bush Regime has manipulated this country to its near destruction through fear and dissention? Have they truly forgotten that the next President will nominate as many as THREE new Supreme Court Justices? Can they honestly want to put the Supreme Court into the hands of reactionary right-wing zealots for the next 50 years simply because “their” candidate was not the Democratic nominee?

I am sure that neither the corporate media nor the neo-cons could have planned a better Democratic primary.

Seriously.

For shame.
