I have changed my avatar
I still support Hillary Clinton, but I'm starting to think that having an avatar of one of the candidates adds a tiny bit to the divisiveness that is happening on DU. In my dreams I would love to vote for a younger and healthier Ali.

Who would be your dream candidate?

3. I changed mine right before Super Tuesday.
I didn't use a candidate, until suddenly there were no acceptable candidates left on the ballot to vote for.

When Edwards dropped out, I put DK up for my avatar as a symbol of the issues that won't be debated by Democrats or anyone else in this farce of a primary, or in the GE.

4. John Edwards was my first choice
I wonder if he intends to endorse either Clinton or Obama. In a way I kind of hope he doesn't.

8. I really hope he endorses neither.
My choices in the primary were:

1. Kucinich.

2. A tie: Edwards/Biden/Richardson

3. Dodd

4. My dog.

11. Ann Richards. Governor of TX. Incredible woman.
She had a heart of gold and a wit as sharp as a razor.

She is the one who had the famous line as to george1 :

"Poor George."

some laughter
short pause

"He can't help it!"

much laughter
long pause

"He was born with a SILVER FOOT in his nouth!"

general hysteria ensues

Ann Richards is worth a few googles and YouTube dips.

She was an extraordinary woman.

sounds like a neat guy - wish there was a photo, seems odd in this internet world no one has posted a photo with his bios.

18. My dream candidate is, and will always be,
Dennis Kucinich! After him, anybody but the Repug.

You're right, it does seem that the different candidates avatars can get folk worked up here. :hi:
