Be patient.
This election is not over yet. We will have to see what PA and NC decide before the nominee becomes more evident. If Hillary wins both PA and NC by good margins, it would indicate to some that Obama has been damaged by the attacks against his closeness to his Reverend. Coupled with the fact that FL and MI have not been resolved, she would still have a good argument to stay in the race.

However, if she were to lose PA and NC, Obama would clearly be the favorite for the nomination. If she barely wins PA and loses NC by a good margin, that is not a good situation for her either. With either of these scenarios, they will need to make a deal.

If Hillary wins both PA and NC, she should offer the VP to Obama. If she loses both states or barely wins PA and loses NC, then Obama should offer her the VP. It is becoming more obvious by the day that there has to be a unity ticket. Put all your hatreds and ill-feelings aside. This is necessary. The only thing to be determined is who is on the top of the ticket.

It would be the best thing for McCain, but not the democratic party!

5. Key phrase being good margin
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 10:06 AM by MattBaggins
She needs to win PA by a good 70%. What will be a "good margin"? Will we have another Ohio and start calling a moderate win an ass whuppin?

I really hate to have to do this to the many good supporters of Hillary; but the VP slot was lost after "the McCain and I" and "3am" stunts. She is not going to get the VP nod which is actually quite saddening. Two months ago and we would have had a tidal wave.

6. Fortunately, the decision will not be yours solely.
We will have to look at the big picture and see what is in the interest of the Party as a whole - not what might please a few people here and there.

She needs to win both states.

14. So she needs to win IN, NC, and PA iyo? What if she wins PA and barely wins IN?
I still don't think she can stay in. it's apparent who the nominee will be imo. Imo she has to win all 3

10. I don't think she's a good choice for VP because
she is going to need YEARS of therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after that sniper almost shot her through the head in Bosnia.

Chilling. I hope the VA isn't too backed up to see her..

12. If she doesn't want to be ridiculed for lying
maybe she shouldn't be lying about fucking SNIPERS on a runway.

She turned the absolute horror of combat into a lie and a soundbite for her own self aggrandizement.

Her complete lack of respect for anyone who has ever been under fire makes me want to puke.

:puke:

If she doesn't value our service any more than that, how can she be expected to show caution and prudence when it might be necessary to commit our soldiers to war?

Oh, that's right. she already showed us she can't.

13. Go ahead and get it out of your system.
John McCain would never "misspeak"...Is that who you are going to vote for?

15. Nope. Never.
I love John McCain for what he did while a POW. He had a free pass to get out of the Hanoi Hilton and didn't do it because he refused to leave his men.

But he has turned into a feeble shell. He CANNOT be President.

Hillary didn't misspeak. She lied through her fucking teeth, FOUR TIMES.

"We had to duck our heads and run for our vehicles...."

If she misspoke she is delusional. And delusional people shouldn't be president any more than pathological liars should be.

She is one or the other. Take your pick.
