Obama and the Republican attack machine ::
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 03:11 PM by indimuse
One-degree of separation: Obama and the Republican attack machine

A March 28, 2008, OpEdNews six-page article by columnist and investigative journalist Evelyn Pringle—"the first in a series that will give the details of Obama's rise to fame"—pointed out the obvious:

"The most trusted leaders of the Democratic party, such as John Kerry and Ted Kennedy, ought to be ashamed of themselves for supporting Barack Obama. With use of the internet, a fifth grader could connect the dots to show a picture of a guy who was picked up in college and carried up the political latter by a corrupt gang of influence peddlers.

John McCain is just drooling waiting for Obama to become the nominee so that he can come out with the trail of dirt that the Democratic party is too afraid to reveal this late in the in the game. If nominated, Obama will not survive a month when faced with the Republican attack machine.

If he becomes the nominee, the web of corruption leading to Obama's rise to power that this investigative journalist was able to untangle in less than three weeks, will be front page news right up until election day, handing the Republicans their only chance in hell of winning the White House.

Instead of the leaders of the Democratic party doing their homework, a small group of investigative reporters in Chicago will be credited with exposing the corrupt backbone of political career and the mainstream media need only follow their lead if the Democrats hold him out to be a viable candidate.
Read the rest of Pringle's detailed article here

<snip>

The trail of corruption involving the people raising money for Obama's political career stretches from the city of Chicago to the Illinois tollway to the O'Hare airport all the way over to Iraq. And testimony in Rezko's corruption trial reveals that an equal number of Democrat and Republican crooks benefited from all the moneymaking schemes.

Rezko is not a Democrat; he's an equal opportunity profiteer. He supported President George Bush and attended a Christmas party at the White House in December 2003, at the same time that he was a top fundraiser for Obama's US Senate campaign.

How could I not post this...Rezko/Obama friendship/business/personal deals not conducive to winning the WH. really.

5. The Republican slime machine has already commenced pouncing on Obama
in concert with the Clinton campaign. There is only one campaign that appears to have forged a true alliance with the RW media element of that party. Hillary has openly consorted with Scaife and Murdoch. The pouncing has been undertaken, and Hillary may wind up with fleas.

What a sucker he was to listen to her. He is the poster child for bad judgment.

4. you reall;y love right wing slime sites
you're constantly posting links to them to bolster your viewpoint. And personally, I think; Obama is far better able to deal with attacks than Hilly, who had very limited success dealing with right wing attacks in the past, despite the ridiculous claims of her devotees. Obama has teflon. Hilly? None. Zero. Everythiing sticks to that poor woman. And oh, I remember how absolutely sure you were that Wright would do in Obama in the primary. Didn't work out that way now did it?

I pray we, in NY, have someone else queued up in 2012 for the US Senate, because she gave them, on a platter, the PERFECT campaign commercial.:(

9. Ms. Pringle - who the FUCK do you think Jackson Stephens was to the Clintons?
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 04:11 PM by blm
No HONEST journalist would forget BCCI and the deep-sixing of ALL its outstanding matters throughout the 90s that protected and benefitted those most involved - GHWBush, Jackson Stephens, Dubai and Saudi royals, Marc Rich, the Bin Ladens, Adnan Kashoggi, James Bath, and other operatives.

Gee - Ms. Pringle - why would Stephens have spent the 80s GROOMING Bill Clinton and underwriting his 92 primary campaign just as GHWBush expected to be impeached after the Dec 1992 release of the BCCI report?

Ms. Pringle - YOU should be ashamed for thinking Kerry and Kennedy are the wrong ones here. Kerry worked for YEARS to uncover IranContra, BCCI and CIA drugrunning - and Bill Clinton came into office and DEEP-SIXED all those matters.

Where was YOUR OUTRAGE, Ms. Pringle? You don't know shit about the Clintons and the 'set-ups' made over the years.

I truly doubt it will happen, but Obama could be indicted based on witness testimony during the trial. Don't think for a second that by Obama not being called as a witness, Fitzgerald gives him a free pass. That is simply not true.
