electability. If people think the Wright story was "bad" in the primary, just wait until the GE, if Obama wins the primary. I don't know about you, I'd rather not sit through another six months or so listening to the new Wright videos and quotes. Obama is loosing ground in polls nationally against McCain, and the numbers will drop further. The right machine are licking their chops over the Wright deal. Forget about issues, this GE will just turn into a huge pastor-gate. Can the democratic party afford that?

the Wright story will just grow more legs in the GE, and Obama has lost support already from a large segment of independents. Hillary Clinton has a bigger lead with the democratic voters. Take away, independents and cross-overs, Obama will lose big in the GE. As far as Hillary Clinton, she also has a long hill to climb, but the Wright story will be picked apart piece by piece. My bet is with Clinton, simply because she can win over McCain. Unlike Obama, who has based his whole campaign on unity and change, as the "idealistic" candidate has shown he is just politician after all.

The difference is; we KNOW the Clinton's, they might play hardball, but that's exactly what the democrats need to win the WH. . . Bill Clinton's presidency was good for our country with the important issues we all face right now; like our economy, education, diplomacy, etc.

Also, a primary does not equal a general election. IMO the idea that the primary votes in one state is determinant on who will win the state is ridiculous. Even with record turnout, not that many people vote in state primaries as compared to a GE. Also, polls really dont mean anything this early.
