1. The Democratic Senator of PA endorsed the next President,
that is what it "ammounts" to.

from a popular Pennsylvania political family, who represents one of Hillary Clinton's base demographics (working class Catholics) endorses the better candidate for President, Barack Obama.

Here? In the first place, considering that Bob Casey's father was the Governor of Pa. , he's had more political experience than Hillary and Obama together. Next Casey has done more to help the people of Pa. in his few short years in office than Rick Santorum did in 12. You obviously have no idea of what your talking about and just looking for a fight.....please go somewhere else.

57. Boy, are you wrong---
Casey, Jr. is not popular--I am from PA and I can vouch for that. As far as demographics, Casey, Jr. has absolutely no clout with the Catholics here.

My money's on Gov. Ed Rendell, Luke(Mayor of Pittsburgh); Mayor of Philly; John Murtha, Mayor of Erie; and so on who all endorsed Hillary Clinton.

3. It is amazing how once a person endorses Obama or a state votes for Obama
they suddenly are of no consequence.

Its the insult 40 states strategy, only with superdelegates.

And some people are touting Hillary for Senate Majority Leader so that she can lead people like this "inexperienced Senator".

Yeah dissing Casey is a really great idea...NOT.

6. I suggest folks check out this site for the t r u t h
www.attacktimeline.com

Obama's and his internet bloggers that fan out with attack rhetoric have run one of the nastiest campaigns I've ever seen.

Go Hillary.....take the fight all the way to the Convention.
Media, pundits and pollsters do not have any right telling the American voter who should 'drop out'.
They're just filling air time with drivel.
Politics is no tea party.
May the best candidate, Hillary, win!

25. OK, I checked out that site
None of the attacks on there seemed especially outrageous. On the one hand, you say "politics is no tea party", on the other hand you call for the smelling salts any time Obama says a word against his opponent. There was nothing in that attack timeline that compares to releasing the Somali photo, or endorsing McCain over Obama, or "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina, you know" in terms of nastiness.

on April 22nd. Only one thing is certain: It can't hurt Obama. Casey is popular among those he needs to reach. Oh, and more long serving Senators have endorsed Obama than Hilly. Kerry, Kennedy, Durbin, Leahy, etc. Tough for you, little hillbot.

Why you post so much on an American political board is beyond me. You people have enough of your own shit to worry about.

Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 06:45 AM by yibbehobba
The Caseys are basically Pennsylvania's equivalent of the Kennedys. Bob Casey Jr. is immensely popular. Geographically speaking, he won almost every area outside of Philly when he ran for governor against Rendell. Casey's father was a very popular governor. There's hardly a bigger endorsement you can get in Pennsylvania, with the exception of Rendell himself.

Edit to add: He's also the man who took down Rick Santorum. Ya, he's popular amongst PA dems.

21. Are you
fantasying about multiple personalities again?

<<All you Obama people are the same. You all think and say the same thing ALL the time. You agree on everything an all speak in one voice all the time.>>

Does that make any sense to you? It doesn't to me.

My problem with Obama - one of them at least - is that he is not at all progressive. He is cautious, conservative, unskilled and unschooled on economic and social issues.

He is a "hate the sin...love the sinner" type and that gives me the creeps.

51. Perhaps our definitions on these issues are different.
I am concerned about a range os social and economic issues should Obama become president and do believe that more progress would be made with a Clinton presidency and for a number of specific reasons.

Time will tell.

I do think that if we have a president Obama we will need to pile on the pressure. The opposition will be fierce and any any wavering will be perceived as weakness. i worry about him getting rolled.

All of her claims of "experience" are total resume-padding horseshit. If she goes up against McCain and tries that shit he'll tear her to pieces, since he has actual experience.

50. Obama had more experience than Bill Clinton did when he ran. If experience is you point
it doesn't work. Hillary has 4 more years in the Senate the Barrack

If you want to debate real issues between the candidates that makes sense, but for people to throw out intangible nonesense as though that really matters does nothing for either of the candidates

1. What are their positions on Healthcare
2. What are their positions on Social Security
3. What are their positions on the Iraq war
4. What are their positions on the war on terrorism
5. What are their positions on jobs and the economy
6. What are their positions on the environment
7. What about illegal immigrants
8. Compare and contrast their voting records and their positions

No, lets continue to ignore the issues, and have each side try to piss each other off by making inane dribble
