I had surgery two weeks ago...seem to be recuperating just fine. But I have six weeks off work. :(

Really no complaints. Spring has sprung down here in the deep south, and I'm watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. Dad's getting ready to plant the garden.

My kid is 14 now! He WILL be driving next year, so good vibes are appreciated. :scared:

27. What I'd like to know is how can you keep freepers out

of DU? I know I'm new to DU and there are several folks that have been posting for years. But, how can Skinner keep people from coming in here that all they want to do is post negative, divisive, untruthful, name-calling posts? Also, there have been posters that have been here a good while that exhibit similar traits to the freepers. I've seen where they were called out and posters would say I can't believe he/she posted that and they have been here a long time. Anyway, I do appreciate Skinner doing his best to keep DU a more pleasant place for people to exchange ideas while at the same time trying to keep negative posts out.

keep the trolls out of the garden.

Far too often, people forget that they are the one's that do the real work and others get the recognition. I'm not knocking Skinner/Admin/Mods...but it is the membership that does the vast amount of work in ferreting out these shitweasels.

I don't think you guys get the recognition and thanks you so often deserve.

So I offer my heartfelt thanks to all of you who help too keep the place cleaned up...
