In a strange turn of events, President Bush has called on...
Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton to drop out of the race for President, saying there was no way either of them could beat Senator John McCain. President Bush said that Senators Obama and Clinton should withdraw "for the good of the country."

"In these trying times, we need a united country to stand behind our presumed President, Senator McCain. This is no time for politics or democracy."

Neither Senator Obama nor Senator Clinton could be reached for comment.
