fear and loathing on the campaign trail '72

i saw this in a bookstore and because i remember what happened in '68 and '72, i figured i would read hunter s thompsons take.
the first 2 chapters are very very enlightening, as he goes through the history of the previous election, and details the build up to the '72 race.

i want to recommend this to you all, and if you have had the pleasure before, i urge you to read it again now.

i am finding the parallels astonishing.
