2. Tonya Harding
I would say that now, the fans are becoming complicit in her collapsible baton strategy too. There should be some things that get shamed away, such as party disloyalty, not looked at with condoning.

3. I'm beginning to buy into the notion they want McCain to win so
she can make a 2012 comeback.

5. Yup.

it's just like her IWR vote. Every move she makes is about protecting her career and her power. If it means innocents die abroad, or the Republicans get to do four more years worth of damage here at home, so what? It doesn't affect her. It's very disappointing. I really wanted to think better of her than that but she's made it impossible. If she makes off with the nom I really don't know what I'll do. I pray it doesn't come to that.

6. Which Clinton is sucking up to McCain this time?
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 12:23 PM by No Surrender
Not that it matters. If this primary has proved anything, it's that the Clintons suck. Big time. The only thing that matters to them is winning. It doesn't matter how they do it, as long as they win. Winning. Winning. Winning. Winning. That's their measurement of success. Winning.

I'm with you. If I never see these two again, it will be too soon.

8. If Clinton gets the Dem nomination by some chance
any McCain supporter that thinks he won't be treated to the same kitchen sink strategy that Obama has is even more delusional than most republicans.

Just saying.

9. Newsflash: If Obama makes it to the GE, McCain wins
His lack of experience and questionable past will be great fodder for the GOP.

12. Yeah? And Hillary's negatives are well over 50% I guess we need Gore....
Hillary is damaged goods. Her sniper comments sealed her fate for the general election....well, her fate was sealed anyhow, but now I am wondering if she would win a single state....

17. To the extent that
McCain's cheery Bill and Hill ads dazzle Clintonistas, that might happen. Unless maybe... they spend the fall hollering, Not True, We Misspoke, We Were Sleep Deprived!

13. Someone stop them before they appear again.
So painfully awful.

My mom ripped my head off last night as if I was running the damn Clinton campaign. She's a HIllary die hard and I swear this race is taking months off of her life.

How Pelosi sees this continuing to June is beyond me.

20. Wow, I wondered how these die hard
hilary fans are swallowing this. I just remembered our exchange way back when you posted about your Mom being a strong hilary supporter.

Maybe Nancy Pelosi is thinking.."worst case scenario..June!" :(

19. cant find the exact quote in print yet guess this is as close as it gets.
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/03/clinton-praises.html

But McCain, who Mr. Clinton said is a "moderate", "has given about all you can give for this country without dyin' for it."

He said McCain was on the right side of issues like being against torture of enemy combatants and global warming, which "just about crosses the bridge for them (Republicans)."

The praise from Clinton comes as McCain, with the Republican nomination locked up and trying to rebrand his Maverick label, has tried to distance himself from President Bush, most notably on foreign policy.

21. The Clintons are the losers of this Primary Race.
Nobody will care about their opinions in November. McCan't can't use them to boost his effort.
