Words, phrases and other things I want to BAN from this campaign. Yes ban.
1. The phrase "thrown under the bus". It's old, it's not funny and it's just, um, stupid.

2. The word "narrative". That's a pretend intellectual word, best kept in the academy and out of politics.

3. Too many polls. We need stricter regulation of the polling industry. It is very dangerous to have this many polls. I am actually quite convinced that many of them fake, fudge and fabricate their numbers. I have never been polled. Ever.

4. Frank Luntz "focus groups" on undecided dumb-dumbs. Undecided voters are usually some of the dumbest people I have ever met, at least those who would do a focus group. A lot of undecideds end up not voting anyway. They just want attention. This campaign is not about them.

There's more, but I just cant think of them right now.

1. When the poll data consists of 100-500 people, chances are good that
you'll never ever ever ever be polled.

I bet you haven't won the lottery either :)

4. At the end of the day, our candidate will thread the needle.
And Joe Six Pack will be satisfied, if we just don't jump the shark.

5. I wouldn't throw "narrative" under the bus myself.
Both focus groups and un-biased opinion polls indicate its continued support, both as a word and a concept.
