Something smells there.

6. Yeah, we're so together now.
It's hugs and kisses on GD: Primaries every day between us.

This poll may be a loaded question, but it's also a legitimate one.

5. wasn't there a fable about a mouse riding across a river on the head of an alligator?
In this case, I can't quite tell who's the mouse and who's the alligator.

10. Wasn't it a monkey and a crocodile? Anyway, good analogy.
Here's one version: http://www.longlongtimeago.com/llta_fables_monkeycroc.html

Here's how it ends, and ain't it the truth: The monkey realizes that he and the crocodile can never be friends. In this case, who knows? If it's about power with these two, maybe the monkey and crocodile were made for each other.

11. thanks! maybe I was thinking of a related story about a scorpion and a crocodile
the crocodile promises not to eat the scorpion if the scorpion promises not to sting his head and kill him.

When they are half way across the river, the scorpion stings him. As the crocodile is dying, he asks the scorpion why he did it since it means they will both die, and the scorpion says, "What did you expect? It's my nature."

That might be a better analogy for the Clintons and the right wing media, though again, I'm not sure which would be the croc.
