6. Keith jumped the shark majorly when he became a partisan Obama cheerleader.
Such a disappointment. Thought the man was a real journalist.

But I still believe in Al Gore. He could save the Dems from this impending disaster.

11. Parisian for the truth. He only started to attack her, after she went all "Kitchen Sink"-fu on us.
Other Duers here have shown videos of him defending her before that.

15. The media handed the nomination to Hillary...it was hers to lose.
Hillary screwed it up all by herself.

17. ohmygod that is so much bullshit I must respond.
The media vilified Clinton and has for a decade. The many studies of media shows proof of the vilification and negative treatment Clinton receives in the media. The studies show, conversely, that Obama is given special status--nearly knighted.

The media attacked Clinton from day-one. And still she stands. She is amazing the crap thrown at her and she rises to fight another day.

Hillary screwed it up all by herself? That is too much bullshit to let go by.

<snip>

Why Is Hillary Clinton Lying?
by Robert Parry
March 26, 2008—Two weeks ago, I wrote a story that observed a disturbing trend in Hillary Clinton’s campaign – her growing tendency to stretch the truth, twist what her chief rival was saying and then rely on her supporters to go on the offensive against you if you spoke up.

These tendencies were troubling, in part, because they mirrored what had become so common during George W. Bush’s years: to declare that a fantasy is the truth and then to attack the patriotism or sanity of anyone who thinks otherwise. I wrote:

“Throughout history, it’s been common for politicians to shade the truth when caught in a tight spot. But sometimes politicians push the limits, crossing the line into an Orwellian world where up is down, where bullies are victims, where people objecting to the lies are shouted down.”

The article cited a number of examples of Clinton turning reality inside out and repeating false attack lines against Barack Obama, such as claiming that he wanted to "bomb Pakistan" when he really advocated attacking al-Qaeda targets inside Pakistan if the government there refused to act.

A week later, I cited a report in the Boston Globe about Clinton exaggerating her behind-the-scenes support for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program – which was fashioned and passed by a bipartisan congressional effort led by Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Massachusetts, and Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah. I noted that Clinton had transformed her peripheral role into a central theme of her campaign."

23. chimpy this is true and you know
If he didn't have so much hate in him that it comes out when he speaks then he might have a chance at better ratings. As it is now, Clinton supporters don't watch his show. Also, Kill O'Reilly has the highest Nelson ratings in that time slot, go figure.

13. Deadlocked?! How's that? Someone is delusional...
Obama - more pledged delegates
Obama - more states won
Obama - the popular vote
Obama - more super delegates voting for him since Super Tuesday

Clinton - lost Super Delegates and what's worse no one seems to be willing to jump for her.

Al Gore isn't necessary. As a matter of fact if the Dems install Gore then we have lost.

14. you mean 60 Minutes actually has something newsworthy on?
Dateline on NBC has a show that's pretty much the same stuff as "Wildest Police Videos" and every other flavor of it that runs on TruTV. That's worthy of what is supposed to be a serious news show?

Now, my wife made the point that TruTV is not network, and you have to have cable/satellite to watch those shows (every day, ad nauseam) IMO, that kind of thing would be better as a recurrent thing on WB (or whatever it's called now) or the My station (it's My46 here, I know it's different depending on the channel it's on). It sure doesn't belong on Dateline...of course, as I never watch Dateline, maybe this is what it's become.
