Predict the General Election Crowds Obama Will Get.
Let's have a little fun for a second. Obama has attracted thousands and thousands of people in a lot of different venues. Recently at Penn State where 22,000 showed up...meanwhile, how many people have shown up to go see John McCain? Maybe a couple thousand? Conventional wisdom should be that when Obama makes it to the General...MORE people will show up to see him than there are now.

I say breaking 50,000 in bigger venues will not be hard (he did that once in Atlanta didn't he?).

2. The SILENT MAJORITY will prevail; rallies do NOT elect candidates........
and MOST often just create a lot of noise.

6. The poster is correct...
...most people don't get emotional over politicians, they tend to vote on issues instead. These are the people that Obama is failing to reach out to. He needs to start talking about issues 24/7 instead of talking about Hillary 24/7.

are NOT taken in by a rally mentality; the Silent Majority; will decide WHO will become the next President. A rethug? NEVER!

9. Since when are rallies bad?
This is the first large rally he's had since, what, Wisconsin?

The silent majority candidate also had his fair share of large rallies.

12. Rallies are about generating excitement. Excitement does NOT address.........
Edited on Mon Mar-31-08 10:59 AM by Double T
the REAL ISSUES. People are getting carried away by the excitement and overlooking the substance of the important issues.

11. Last time I checked, Obama leads in the popular vote.
And all of those voters didn't go to large rallies.

It seems to me Obama leads in the "silent majority" vote.

You really sound like a homer now.

That was the Florida and Michigan legislatures, not Obama. Is there anything you Hillary supporters won't blame Obama for?

Edited on Mon Mar-31-08 11:08 AM by Double T
obama won't let the vote stand and won't have a straight up re-vote. Yep. Disenfranchised is right!!

Wow. Pretty impressive. I guess that's how he hypnotizes all his cult supporters, too.

It would show, proof positive, the impact he would have on how the world will view us post-Republican regime.

Lemme organize Obama appearances in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. I'll guarantee 20,000+ at each. All I ask for is the t-shirt concession rights.
