Ed Rendell: Fox is the "most objective" cable network
YIKES! If he said "most objectionable" I might agree...

http://www.politico.com/blogs/michaelcalderone/0308/Gov_Rendell_Fox_is_most_objective_cable_network.html

The Clinton campaign has said before that Fox treats them more fairly than MSNBC, but prominent surrogate Governor Ed Rendell heaped the strongest praise yet on the Murdoch-owned network.

"I think during this entire primary coverage, starting in Iowa and up to the present -- FOX has done the fairest job, and remained the most objective of all the cable networks. You hate both of our candidates. No, I’m only kidding. But you actually have done a very balanced job of reporting the news, and some of the other stations are just caught up with Senator Obama, who is a great guy, but Senator Obama can do no wrong, and Senator Clinton can do no right.”

Oh but wait. If she is nominated (long shot), they will go 180 on her and start dragging out reruns from the 90s.

I wonder what they're chuckling about.

Murdoch: "Alright, so, I'm gonna have my sham pseudo-journalism network bang Bu$h's war drums and act as a blatant mouthpiece for American hubris and reckless, imperialistic foreign policy. Then, you go off to the Senate and vote FOR the war and AGAINST the Levin amendment, and vocally support the illegal bloodbath for years until you realize it might not be popular anymore. Then, when you run for president, my network will shill for you and talk ad nauseam about the crazy pastor of your uppity negroid opponent, Barack Hussein Osama - WHOOPS! I mean Obama. Then, when you win the presidency, you can deregulate the media even more."

Clinton (showing a brief flash of common sense): "But what about those 4000+ dead American troops?"

Murdoch: "Fuck 'em! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

(They both collapse into laughter.)

Hillary did that to herself.

No one forced Fuax to push a "Is Barack Obama a Muslim" agenda. This doesn't compare to Rev. Wright as this isn't something Obama said. they cherry picked brief excerpts from MANY speeches and then sent their attack dogs after Obama.

They are not attacking Hillary ... for now. They're setting her up for the big fall. They are doing it for the same reason that Rush Limbaugh is endorsing Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. They know they have conditioned people to react to Hillary in a negative way. All they have to do is pull out the reruns to bury her.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Puhleeze, Faux news has a huge dog in this fight, they are trying to A, throw the election to McCain, and B drive up their ratings. It is a win, win situation for them. If Hillary gets the nod, they figure that she is the weakest candidate out there, and they will throw many hundreds of kitchen sinks her way and throw the election for McCain. And if, by some miracle chance she is elected POTUS, then their ratings go up up up as they continue to try and pull her administration down for the next four years. Why the hell do you think Faux, Murdoch, Scaife, Limbaugh, Coulter and all the rest are backing a Clinton? It's not because they're kinder gentler people now, it's because it is in their own best interest to do so.

Not because Fox is a great, fair, network. They are a disgusting network. They will turn right back to the right wing network after the primary season. But in the primary season, they have been fair to both candidates.

MSNBC, on the other hand, has anchors blatently biased towards Obama at 5 and 7 pm (Matthews), and 8 and 10 pm (Olbermann).

However, I like hanging around reading all the juicy Op-Ed pieces the Obama supporters post and the hate threads they post about anything associated to Clinton, even her supporters. It seems to reinforce my reason for supporting her.

75. The Fox "News" crew are complete slobs. The morning group are complete jerks.
I was at a motel breakfast area and they had that garbage on; when I changed it I almost got into a fight with a right-wing pig. The other guests backed me up saying that it is a channel for stupid people.

85. Four hours of rabidly antiObama/proHillary
followed by Fox type coverage of the campaign during the day, capped in the evening by an hour of proObama during Keith, then relatively balanced coverage.

Keith is very good, so one hour of him may indeed counter 8 hours of trash talk. I'm not sure.

98. Conservatives always whine ...

Conservatives always whine and claim bias whenever anyone contradicts them.

Hillary is backed up against the wall and her inner circle is acting like a bunch of mad hatters. I think a LOT of people are being misled by these insiders desperately seeking to preserve their access to power. When Hillary came to NWI, all the crooked local party machine mayors were there to greet her.

So long DLC. Take your corporatism out of the door with you. Go be Republicans. Don't worry, about the flock, they'll stay right here.

they've always wanted Sen. Clinton to be the nominee because they think she'll be easier to beat in November. They have an agenda and it has nothing to do with being fair and balanced. Ed Rendell is an idiot to think they are being "objective".

"News" - just like we get gushing, breathless updates from them about what Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and all the other such stars of Hate Radio are on about now that they're all saying Democrats should make Hillary the nominee.

And sure enough, they were. It's amazing the seedy playmates a losing cause will degrade itself into buddying up to....

90. I Don't Know What Fox Would Gain From Promoting Hillary Rodham Clinton
I would think it would be terrible for the GOP to go against a Democratic nominee with a 37% positive rating, and I can't imagine that ratings at the conservative news station would skyrocket if Clinton became McCain's opponent.

And certainly they have no interest in promoting a drawn out primary battle that will drag down the numbers of the Democratic frontrunner.

I'm sure it is all just a matter of responsible journalism at a station known for its "fair and balanced" coverage.

I mean, maybe y'all need to take a step back and look at who your "allies" are now, and contemplate why the VRWC is now in Hillary's corner.
