Don't Forget The Supreme Court!

I realize that many DU'ers are nursing hard feelings for people who support Hillary Clinton and that many other DU'ers have hard feelings for people who support Senator Obama. However the nominating process turns out, no matter how bitter we may be that our candidate didn't get the nomination, let's not forget the prize come the day after Election Day. Whichever Democratic candidate that wins in November will probably get to pick at least one Supreme Court Justice next term or, if too many sit on our hands next fall, Republican John McCain or his (almost certainly reactionary) Veep will get to finish the stacking that Dubya started.

Let's not forget what voter corraling, scrubbed voter lists, swiftboating, and slacking slackers bought us in the 2004 elections--Justice Alito and Chief Justice Roberts. As a Democratic partiasan, I devoutly hope that we don't let those events happen again.
