"I took her stuff and then I left"
Edited on Mon Mar-31-08 02:26 PM by Bonobo

Doesn't sound very nice, does it...

---------------------------------------------------------
Bicakcic, asked if she feared any threat of violence that day, said she felt just the opposite.

"No," she said, speaking at her home in Sarajevo, the Bosnian capital. "I was just excited. I wanted to look in the eye and say, 'Thank you.' "

And Clinton, she said, seemed far more interested in her poem than in dashing for shelter.

"She was really listening," Bicakcic recalled. "She was drinking in every word of my poem."

Her poem begins with the words, "Peace has come."

Bicakcic said she was reluctant to criticize Clinton's account of that day because of a deep appreciation for the US role in ending Bosnia's bloody nightmare.

A picture of the girl's meeting with the then-first lady - signed and inscribed by Clinton - has become a treasured family heirloom.

22. Yes, it's tragic that she feels this compulsive need to embellish things, when
the embellishment is so much less poignant than the truth. If this is the fault of her advisers, they should be exiled to the North Pole.

Because this lie happened to be truly indicative of Hillary's character, that's why.

Using people like objects.

25. Keep it up, Bonobo!
This really stands out in hilary's narrative on her bogus Bosnian Fire by Sniper story. That and the infamous.."Now this is what happened"..when I heard the clip from Waco where she was regaling her Bosnian adventures.

15. "I took her stuff and then I left"
That line is the sleeper in the cavalcade of shittery uttered by Hillary about the Tuzla landing. The lies are the on-the-face proof of her lack of integrity, "I took her stuff and then I left" is evidence of a much deeper disregard for the peasantry (the rest of us.) And the fact that she would say that, for attribution, indicates that she doesn't GET that we GET it.

18. You get it. Let's repeat. "I took her stuff and left." Should be Hil's campaing slogan.
It's certainly her personal philosophy of entitlement.

That very line caught my ear even in the midst of the whopperfest it which it was couched. I agree about the campaign slogan.

17. Well, to be fair,
When you are 8 years old and living in a war zone, you would obviously stop fearing sniper fire, and probably even forget it was going on all around you. Nope. Still gotta believe Hillary on this one.

I mean, why wouldn't you believe everything Hillary Clinton said? Circles can be squares. To hell with logic or fact. When she's right, she's right.

23. Kick and Rec. This is a really sad post, but it gets to the heart of why Senator Clinton
Edited on Mon Mar-31-08 05:41 PM by Mike03
has messed up her reputation, her campaign, and her credibility.

It really is sad and I don't see this as any reason to make jokes, laugh or rejoice in her destruction.

It's almost like Hillary is socially tone-deaf to what people respond to. She needs a good screenwriter advising her, not political spin artists. They have destroyed her.
