Let's see if I have this straight, Hillary supporters....
Three days ago, when Sen Casey endorsed Obama, you all were on here saying these things:

- "Say goodbye to Roe v Wade"

- Obama was endorsed by a pro-life politician, therefore Obama is pro-life (faulty logic)

- Obama should reject the endorsement of a pro-life politician

Now... Obama makes a statement that is UNEQUIVOCALLY pro-choice... Teenage girls should not be punished for not using birth control by being forced to have a baby, and you are attacking him?

REALLY, Hillbots? You are attacking him for uttering a COMPLETELY pro-choice position?

First you say he's a Republican in disguise, then you say he's too liberal. Now... within a span of three days, you go from calling him secretly pro-life to criticizing him for being unabashedly pro-choice.

Here's a set of straws for you Hillary supporters:

Grasp away!

1. Its not about logic or consistancy
Its about spin and seeing what sticks.

2. It's happened before.
Remember when they criticized him for not disavowing Rev. Wright? Then when he did disavow Wright, they criticized him for not disavowing him in the manner they preferred?

Kinda like that. Nothing will satisfy them, except being able to criticize Obama.

6. He was 20 years too late. Add to that the fact, he lied when he first
discussed the situation, did a total about face when his speech writers got the speech done. I wouldn't be surprised if a little internal polling was involved in his "disavowing."

11. Reporters following the campaign....
...said that Obama was up to the wee hours refining the speech. Either their reporting is bad, or you are lying.

I'm going with the latter.

5. Well, he obviously didn't think his girls would have an abortion because
a baby implies they kept it. A born baby, to be punished for. That's one way to look at it I guess.

Not that I necessarily look at it that way, though. I just think it was stupid of him to say. He should have never put it that way.

10. The question wasn't ABOUT abortion... it was about birth control...
...and the question came from a pro-lifer... and he was telling the pro-lifer that you can't teach abstinence-only, provide no birth-control to teenagers, and then punish them with a baby when they make a mistake.

The answer was a perfectly correct answer, from a pro-choice perspective, when the full context of the quote is read.

To recap:

A) A pro-lifer asks Obama about abstinence and birth control.

B) Obama answers that you can't punish teens who fail at "abstinence" with a baby.... if you're going to be anti-abortion (like the questioner), then you can' logically be anti-birth-control.

Media Matters covered it perfectly. Obama's answer was the exact right answer, given the question and the moral views of the questioner.

Clinton supporters who jump on this answer of his are NOT being intellectually honest.... or they're not really Democrats.

Which are you?

8. My favorite has been the support of Fox, Druge, WND, etc
being used as "sources" - along with the blathering of RW talking points.

Of course I have to admit, I get a chuckle when they say he's too right of Liberal for working with others - then in the next breath he's part of the Left Wing Liberal faction of the party.

14. What I am starting to have a problem with is the hillbots calling
people lier's when they disagree with what was said. There is a difference between a difference of opinion and lying about something. This is a rightwingnut tactic, accuse the opposition of what you yourself are doing.
My personal opinion is these are just some cliquish high school girls on a power trip.

15. Mandatory "FOR PROFIT" Private Health Insurance is NOT...
...repeat NOT... a Progressive position on Health Care.

It is a REPUBLICAN position on Health Care.
