I bet they thought it meant good seats at the convention.
I bet they thought it meant invites to lavish receptions.
I bet they thought it meant they had arrived as party elders.

I bet they thought if the public fell for some stiff,
they could be the heroic saviors of the party.

I bet they never envisioned the current clusterfuck they find themselves in.

Well, its time to step up.
its time to actually be a stabilizing force.
its time to earn the position they enjoy.
I bet they are hoping it all works itself out, even more than the rest of us.

I'd bet some of them are scared shitless, and with good reason.

1. Here's the thing though,
our DNC rep worked his whole life for the party, for free of course, donated zillions of hours, is going down with the ship no matter what because it is his deep conviction that Mrs. C is the best candidate. I am going to be sorry to see him go, we'll be losing a great Dem.

2. you not losing him.
He'll still be around.I hope those zillions of hours were about more than just one single candidate.

Who here doesn't know the sting of backing a loser?

You adjust, You heal, You move on.
