Maybe Edwards doesn't need to endorse anyone.
Has it occurred to any of the posters running around here asking why Edwards hasn't endorsed a candidate that maybe he hasn't because he doesn't need to? John Edwards has been a vice-presidential candidate and it doesn't seem like he enjoyed the experience then, so why would he want to repeat it? It's doubtful that he would want to be in either candidate's cabinet as he can get more experience and publicity for his next run while in the private sector. Also, I think Edwards would make a fantastic president but I don't think he makes a very good minion. Edwards is used to calling the shots, not responding to them.

I could be very mistaken and maybe Edwards is waiting until just be NC to make his endorsement. But if he does, I doubt he does it for political gain - he'll do it for the person he feels would best lead this country.

1. I recall that he was rumored to endorse clinton yesterday.
Knowing Edwards, I'm guessing he thought twice about endorsing a proven liar.

2. Or maybe endorsing a Presidential candidate isn't his first priorty in life right now?
He's got a family in crisis to deal with.....a wife who is ill.

That's enough to deal with.

Please, even Presidential candidates are human.

Why do you care who he votes for, he's got to deal with his life, that's all.

6. Slow down, buddy.
I think we're on the same page here. I'm just making a comment on all the "Why hasn't Edwards Endorsed________?" threads. I agree with what you're saying, he does have personal concerns to think about and they should take priority.

No need to come out swinging, man.

3. I think he wants to wait for the "heavy weights" to chime in, so he can be ranked among them

4. There is something lacking in Edward; maybe the in-ability to inspire?
I don't know but something is missing there in Edwards that maybe evidenced in his not endorsing a candidate; I don't know, just speculating?
