2. Oh you don't know lame until you see this kid.
It's just unbelievable that this kid's vote, (a 21 year old collage junior who's never voted before) is worth 10,000 time more that ours.

thanks for warning me of the impending nausea I will feel in the morning. It kills me the way some DUers act as if "superdelagates" actually know what the fuck they are doing

4. I learned a couple things watching Barack bowl
(1) he had 37 in the seventh frame, but he had picked up a spare in the 8th so technically it was possible for him to get a 117 for the whole game if he got a strike in the 9th and 3 strikes in the 10th.

(2) Barack is left handed?????????!!!

7. 117!?! Oh PLEASE! He QUIT before a humiliating loss to an 8 year old girl!
Just like he should do now, before his upcoming humiliating defeat in the Pennsylvania primary.

Most likely he would have rolled a 3 or a one in the eighth frame. The guy was averaging about 6 pins per frame. If he had NOT QUIT, he most likely would have ended with about a 75, still amazingly bad for an Adult male from Illinois.

But judging from your's and most other Obama supporter's comment here, if he would quit now, he'd just declare victory anyway.:banghead: :grr:

Actually looking at a replay of the game he had 37 in the 6th frame and a spare in the 7th, so he could have gotten 147 by striking out.

Seriously though, being a bowler, I've had some pretty lousy games in my life (especially after not playing for awhile) and there's a reason why bowlers in leagues get to warm up for about 15 mins before their games. (As far as I know, Obama had no chance to warm up.) Once I got into a groove, it was completely possible for me to finish out a crappy game with four or five strikes in a row - or three strikes and a spare or something like that.

But hey, if you wanna hate, go ahead and hate.

10. "averaging about 6 pins per frame" ... that's pitiful ...
... to care about his score, let alone being compelled to distort it. And then there's your math that sucks. Obama had a 37 in the 6th frame, and 6 pins for each remaining frame would have netted him only a 65-71, depending how many pins he took down with his first bowl in the 8th frame. Of course, your average figure of "6" ignores the first two frames as exceptional and further ignores the bonus scoring system; recalculating for these factors would put Obama's pins per frame at between 8.6 - 10.6 -- from a decidedly small sampling, for a bowler who was improving with each passing frame.

But the most important point to remember is that extrapolating anything from Obama's bowling is nonsensical. The reactions are more telling, from media fecklessness to Clinton desperation.

9. Where did you see that Obama got a spare in the 8th frame?
The Daily Show graphic has him getting the spare in the 7th...

(though, even with one additional frame, I think that 117 would have been tough for him to hit; those first two frames were killer, but what would ya expect for not having bowled for 30 years?)

5. I liked that Stewart is one of the few to mention that...
although Clinton does not have enough delegates to win the nomination, Obama does not either. The only way for either to win is for the other to drop out.

6. No, the only way for either to win is for the uncommitted supers to get off the fence
and endorse one or the other.
