With the Pennsylvania polls getting closer, would it be stupid to assume Hillary plans a Wright ad
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 08:59 AM by Tropics_Dude83
Say it's 5-8 points on April 14-15. Do you think Hillary, Wolfson, and Penn will get together and launch an ad in Pennsylvania that goes something like this: "For the first time in my life, I'm proud to be American"-black screen-Michelle Obama, February 18, 2008,-another black screen-'Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country controlled by rich white people."-black screen-Reverend Wright (insert date here)-then sunny shiny pics of Hillary talking to middle class white voters about patriotism or pictures of her with a majority white crowd. Then, the announcer intones "The choice is clear."

I'm sure Penn could do a better job than I could of this ad but do you think she'd stoop so low as to launch a major "3 a.m." ad on Wright? And, would it work?

3. The Bosnia ad would have to be released...
no more than 6 hours after this hits the airwaves. Obama would need an incredibly rapid response.

4. I still think an ad with Bill Clinton supporting Obama...
"You should vote for the candidate that asks you to think and hope..." (from "Clinton's rule of politics") Vote Barack Obama!

6. I think she might be forced to do that to make the vote margin larger
and to show that undecideds broke her way because of such a Wright ad, and that'd be an argument she could make to superdelegates.

7. I saw this discussed on CNN and they said it would probably hurt her
like all the other negative campaigning she's done has, Obama is just too likable. So instead she's privately calling the SD's and telling them he won't win because of Wright because apparently they are stupid and need to be told by the Clinton campaign how it will work.

8. PPP: Obama overtakes Clinton in PA 45-43 3/31-4/1
Obama overtakes Clinton in PA

Raleigh, N.C. – Barack Obama has taken the lead over Hillary Clinton 45-43 in
Pennsylvania, according to the newest survey from Public Policy Polling.

It’s a remarkable turn around from PPP’s last Pennsylvania poll, conducted two and a
half weeks ago, that showed Clinton with a 26 point lead in the state. That poll was
released at the height of the Jeremiah Wright controversy and the day before Obama’s
major speech on race in Philadelphia. Obama has been trending upward in national
polling and in many state level polls since then and this survey reflects that pattern.

23. Outlier! Outlier! Outlier! Outlier!
Sorry, I'm an Obama supporter, but there's no fucking way that poll is accurate. I'm heartened by the fact that the polling is heading in his direction, but I just don't buy this one.

The woman is desperate to be the next POTUS. I'm pretty sure Senator Obama and his campaign is ready for something like this.
