1. Russert, Carville and Matalin have been close friends since the early 90s.

Russert's son was a partner in a venture with Carville.

But let's pretend that Carville has always been a loyal Democrat and NOT a loyal member of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton Inc.

Let's pretend historian Doug Brinkley just imagined the backstabbing of Kerry:

Let's pretend Carville didn't mean to sabotage Ohio Dem voters on election night:

4. Sounds like a very disturbing Ménage à trois
Sorry to even put that out there, the thought is too disgusting.

6. Let's pretend Carville wasn't telling Newsweek that Hart couldn't keep his pants on.
Let's pretend Ken Starr told Carville that Clinton, "had no core" values and "doesn't believe in anything", and that the words didn't really come from Gary Hart.

Let's pretend that Carville isn't still sleeping with the enemy.

Let's pretend Carville is a loyal Democrat.

2. Beltway people really have no loyalty to any party, just to power and influence.

8. Fat Doesn't Bother Me
it's the person's personality and what they do that bothers me.
