For those that have been following the saga of the split of the 4 PLEO delegates in Mississippi her is a recap:
thevoiceofreason (TVOR) realized that the statewide votes in Mississippi were so close that Obama was within a few votes of winning a 3-1 split instead of a 2-2 split. He went back and checked the county totals versus what the Secretary of State had and realized that there were a few votes added by the counties after the SOS had made their final report.
The SOS amended their final report and that gave Obama 62.512% percent just enough to secure the 3-1 split.
The Dem. party of Mississippi made the adjustments and eventually Demcomwatch, CNN, AP and Green Papers all changed their totals.
Yesterday the Dem Party of Mississippi issued the press release which showed the incorrect numbers using an incorrect rounding and total (the percentages should be based on the two candidates total vote not the total number voting).
TVOR continues to make representations to the Democratic Party of Mississippi. Representations to Rep. Bennie Thompson (D Miss) have been made. Messages have been left at the Obama campaign.
