Is Either Party Really Principled?
Bush liked to think he is a "Principled" conservative who has so called "Family Values"...but once elected he basically abandoned all of those so called conservative values; limited govt, fiscal responsibility, no foreign wars, etc...

on the flip side...

Bill Clinton liked to think he is a "Principled" progressive who cares for the "Working Poor"...but once elected he basically abandoned those so called progressive values; regulate big bizz, programs for the poor, free trade etc...

so the question is...do either of these leaders really represent the "core" of their parties beliefs?
