The shadow president. (And no, I don't mean Dick Cheney)

After 8 years of a figurehead president, a marionette who is manipulated (from an undisclosed location) by a vastly more competent man, you'd think we'd stop to ask ourselves "If we elect candidate X, who else, besides that candidate, will have their hands on the levers of our government?" Regarding Obama, the answer to that question is not clear. Regarding Clinton, however, the answer is obvious and inescapable: This man would be our new shadow president.



Now... I admired Bill Clinton during his years in office. I loved him. And I defended him in every excess. Some might object to my use of this particular photo, but this photo captures the pugnacious and arrogant temperament which has developed in him as he has aged.

Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how "sorry" she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a "Judas" for backing Obama.

It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade.

"Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that," a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.

What do YOU believe Bill's role would be in a new "Clinton Administration"? And why aren't the press, and why aren't WE subjecting Bill's character, motives, and potential role, to the scrutiny that they deserve?

6. Is he? He's campaigning, like all the other spouses except

he has a much higher profile. I don't see him "running" the campaign. I prefer Obama but I'm certainly not going to let my opinion of Bill (who lost my confidence when he reneged on his promise to pardon Leonard Peltier) affect my judgment of Hillary.
