Murtha and Corzine to Hillary: We'll Switch Our Superdelegate Votes If You Don't Lead By June.
Edited on Thu Apr-03-08 07:35 PM by kwenu
Hillary's having a bad day after loyal supporters Rep. John Murtha and Gov. Jon Corzine stated that they reserved the right to switch their votes to Sen. Obama if she doesn't lead in the popular vote by the end of the primaries in June.

If Hillary doesn't lead in delegates or the popular vote by the end of the primary shouldn't she drop out immediately?

4. Ok that article is 300 pages long. What the fuck does it have to do with the post?

The point is if she doesn't have the numbers by June, her superdelegates will jump ship and end this thing definitively before the convention for Obama.

3. Sounds like, "We only like you if you're winning." But it's the kind of pressure...
...we need to make sure Dems have the summer to focus on McCain.

9. No, I think they like Hillary, but you are right we need to have this over by the summer
I'm not incredibly opposed to this shit going on through April and possibly even May. Obama will raise more money than McLame so April and May aren't too crucial. But by June this shit needs to end. Obama needs the summer to rally the party behind him so that he can devote his full attention to the swing voters in the fall.

5. Murtha, too?
Had read about Corzine earlier, but Murtha now?

Ouch, Hillary.

11. Read the whole article
"Murtha echoed Corzine's sentiments in an interview later Thursday, saying, "Clinton has to win Pennsylvania…She has to be ahead in the popular vote to have any chance at all of getting this nomination."

****************

Murtha was talking about being ahead of the popular votes---not changing his support.

Way to go OP---just another distorted post from another distorted Obama supporter.
