When will Hillary be listed as an actress at IMDB?
When will her short films be listed there too?

The short "Terror at Tuzla!" was really great and a good performance by Hillary. I watched it like four or five times and I'm still not tired of it.

The short "Mourning for MLK" was a rather bad acting performance but well-written.

I would like to write comments for these films but I don't see them listed at IMDB.

9. Well why is it that so often when I see her on TV she feels so fake and rehearsed to me?
Its not about her credibility or any lack thereof, she just comes across as trying too hard and looking and more importantly sounding unnatural.

It has gotten to the point that I have a hard time watching her. For a while it was getting better. Her speeches started sounding more genuine, especially when she gets all snarky (which I think is more natural to her).

But the MLK stuff was bad. And I mean baaaaad.

11. is that a requirement for being a good President?
giving good speeches?

I guess Ronald Reagan was a great president, by that criterion.

14. Apparently, presidential candidates are now supposed to sound like faith healers
in a tent out on the Highway 72 Bypass.

Otherwise they're not authentic.

18. People know authentic when they see it.
Did you perhaps feel moved by her account? If so then vouch for her.

But all this "stop hating on Hillary" stuff is more like denial.

28. I don't find Hillary or Obama particularly authentic.
Both strike me as ambitious yuppies who carefully calibrate every word for maximum advantage. Hillary always sounds like she's reading a script and Obama always sounds like a televangelist.

Frankly, I believe that we are stuck with our two weakest candidates now, two corporate centrists trying desperately, if fruitlessly, to present themselves as progressives.

16. Not giving good speeches, but in being genuine and real.
I absolutely do think so, because it gives people the ability to trust you.

If a person doesn't seem to believe in what they are saying, why should we believe them either?

Hillary did a pretty good job on CNBC by the way. That is where she shows she is real and she was interesting and watchable there.

But the MLK stuff didn't look like it came from the heart. Sorry, but it was painful for me to watch.

17. Actually, good communication is part of good leadership, but Hillary's real problem
is telling the truth.

Reagan didn't know the difference between the truth and fiction. He just read his lines like a good actor. He should have hired an acting coach, like Hillary.

23. Whatever you say dkf
Just don't come crying to me.

"Unfortunately, as I've learned on my radio show, too many Obama supporters don't understand that in order to love Barack Obama, you don't have to hate Hillary Clinton. They don't think it's good enough to build up Barack Obama. They think it's necessary to destroy Hillary Clinton, too.

And that's just wrong. Being passionately and enthusiastically for Barack Obama doesn't mean you have to say ugly things against Hillary Clinton. In fact, it's counter-intuitive. In politics, it's much more effective to be FOR somebody, than to be against somebody."

Nailed it.

I mean come on. If "math" and momentum is guaranteeing a victory for Obama in the primaries, why do they even care? What good does it do? What does it accomplish?

I got a reply to one of my posts last night where somebody actually said:

"Hillary needs to be held accountable for her actions -
regardless of who gets the nomination."

26. I won't.
In the end everyone has to make a decision on what is best for this country. If you think John McCain is better for this country than Barack Obama then so be it.

As a veteran of the Dean/Clark/Kerry wars I know that even when you dislike the candidate themselves and when you passionately hate his/her supporters, in the end you will cast your vote for a better future.

All of this is fluff and in the voting booth everything will fall into perspective.

Your cries of "don't pick on Hillary or I will vote McCain" seem more like a threat to hold your breath than anything else and that is how I see all of these types of posts.

I know because I've been in your shoes and I voted for Kerry.

29. You poor thing. You sound extremeley intoxicated.
So I'll whisper in order to not disturb what is most likely a devastating hangover to be.

Your false accusations that I "think John McCain is better for this country than Barack Obama" will not be successful in diverting attention away from your sick goal to divide Democrats.

This strategy makes absolutely no sense.

But then again, it's doubtful that I'm dealing with a very sensible person.

Not once have I said "don't pick on Hillary or I will vote McCain."

Hopefully it's the booze that's causing you to be so embarrassingly ignorant dfk.

But just remember, alcohol is not the way to help win back the White House.

30. Oh boy. Call me a drunk...whatever.
I personally spent hours and hours and well over a thousand dollars on the Dean campaign. When I saw what Kerry did in Iowa, I hated him more than you can ever ever imagine.

I clashed with Kerry supporters and Clark supporters in exactly the same way we are clashing now.

I wasn't banned from this site, but I chose to make my home on another site similar to the Hillary underground site (which I have never tried to find btw).

You would not find a person who denigrated Kerry more than I did.

But in the end, I voted for him. And it was because I was stone cold sober and I knew what a disaster George W. Bush was.

The people on this site aren't idiots. But maybe I give them more credit than you do.
