With all that is going on and with the dem party split all people here talk about are insane polls and numbers . Breaking news is now a TV appearence by Obama . Every single issue that can be turned and twisted aboth either candidate is all that is talked about and no one seems to even have a clue what either candidate really stands for or what they can or will do if either does win the whitehouse seat .

These are not primaries with anything other than a none stop slamming contest and in the end what do we end up with .

Hillary is said to be nothing but a liar and Obama is going to change the landscape of the globe even though all he does say is nothing more than common sense than anyone with a brain should have . There is nothing profound in what he says of how he says it .

If this is all there is then I don't want either one of them to become the next president and I don't want McCain .

Hillary is not the liar she is made out to be and Obama is not the saint he is made out to be so this puts them both in the same boat on an even level of bull shit .

I would no sooner call either of them my president than I would bush my president . This country could have done much better than this .

We are never going to have a health care plan and we are not getting out of Iraq and we are not bringing jobs back and we are not changing a thing because there is no money for any of this .

Well before it got this way the cancer should have been cut out and this cancer is the bush admin and now people are so pumped up about their personal candidate that they can be sold any bill of goods .

But this and all other issues are never talked about and now are as off the table as impeachment has been .

3. I have said for months...
"365 million Americans, and this is the best we can up with?"

There are men and women all over this country that are head and shoulders above these two, and as for McCain, it's just another stock sale from the GOP vegetable bin.

I have neighbors that would make better candidates.

5. there are not many on this forum who feel this way .
most are so emotionally involved that they can't see the reality of politics.

They feel that somehow things will change , things that have not changed since politics began .

I feel much the same as I did after the 2006 midterms where all the promises made went right out the window . If these would have been done we would be out of Iraq and the funding would have been cut.

If before 2006 the dems would have done their job we would not have seen Hayden or Rice or two supreme, court judges confirmed or torture boy . Yet even after they got the majority still they continue on doing nothing .

Politics is a game with the only winners being the politicians and the corporations and the military and it will be the same once again after 2008 if any one of these three get in provided there is an election .

What a shock it will be if there is not an election for most people. I am prepared not to be shocked ever again.
