Oh, they must all be watching Nascar now, or final four.

10. I ran a whole bunch of all candidate polls last fall, a couple of them recorded more than 1,000 DU
votes, every one of them had Kucinich and Edwards ahead of all others, Clinton did very poorly in all of them and Obama support consistently rose in all of them.

And I still think that he was the more progressive choice of the viable Democratic candidates.

That said, I now have no trouble whatsoever giving enthusiastic support to Barack Obama.

Although Dodd was a close second. He eventually moved up to tie DK as my candidate, and I was approaching my vote/support in that manner.

I'm now a full-fledged, Hope Flavored Kool-Aid drinker.

16. I keep wondering where the results of these polls go?
I dutifully vote when I think I know how I feel about whatever it is that's being polled, but then what? Results go where? Can we ever see the sense of the group on this or that subject?

Only 20% of DU supported either HRC or Obama, divided evenly at 10%.

A large majority at DU were behind DK and Edwards. I wonder how many DUers actually got to vote for either. I didn't; when DK dropped out, I would have voted for Edwards, but he wasn't there by super Tuesday, and I still haven't cast my primary vote.

My 1st choice was DK; my 2nd choice was an even tie between Edwards, Biden, and Richardson. I never had to try to choose between them. :(

After the top 4, I had Dodd and Gravel.

Clinton and Obama were never on my "table."

With Clinton and Obama not being the first choice of most of DU, I wonder what the real source of the bloody civil war is.

There certainly was not a lot of passion on DU for either when there were other choices.

22. I had Kucinich, Edwards, and Obama as my top tier. Richardson, Dodd, and Biden next,
Then Clinton.

She was at the bottom by default. I'm oligarchy averse. What can I say?

I'll still vote for her in the general though.

23. Kucinich...
... whose views I most closely agreed with. However, I realize that I'm a good bit farther left than most, and compromises must be made to resolve issues facing the country. Dig your heels in in selfrighteous ideology and dogma and nothing will get resolved. So, while I agree with Kucinich, I don't think he could have been effective. While some of Obama's platform I disagree with, I believe he is probably the most pragmatic and practical of the candidates, and therefore most able to actually accomplish at least some of what I think is necessary. Hillary has already blown off the left and tied herself to corporate interests, so I have no confidence that she'd even try.

Edwards was my second choice, for electability reasons. I loved his platform though. I'm glad he stayed in as long as he did, he kept the other candidates on the issues.
