3. This means that Obama gained two delegates since the actual Caucus, right?
The split was originally 13 for Obama, 5 for Clinton....from what I can remember.

11. ND has 21 total delegates; 13 PD's and 8 SD's
On their caucus day, Obama got 8 and Clinton got 5 of the pledged delegates. Of the 8 SD's, 6 had already declared for Obama. The one he got today was an add-on super D elected at the convention -- and probably the one Clinton was after.

A few more super D's slipped in under the radar yesterday, too. I just looked over at DemConWatch and he got three more yesterday and today the one from ND.

Total SD count per DCW is now: Clinton 245; Obama 220 :bounce:

It's the drip, drip drip of super D's sneaking into the Obama camp between now and the end of May. Heh, heh.

20. That is my thinking. They've been averaging 1-2 a day.
16 days to pick up 24 more! He can do, he may already have it planned!

I hope all the media are keeping rack of these delegates allocations. Seems their numbers are slow to change and the various outlets are all over the map.

21. Best site I've found for up-to-date delegates is DemConWatch
They have the tracking list from TheGreenPapers, AP, NBC, CBS, and CNN. They also have the super delegate list -- who's endorsed and who hasn't.
See here if you're interested. :hi:

8. That add-on is actually a super delegate
Had to check this out because my notes showed 13 PD's and 8 SD's in ND. On Super Tuesday, Obama received 8 and Clinton 5 of the pledged delegates, so I wondered where this extra delegate in the OP came from. Here's the poop from TheGreenPapers:

Friday 4 April - Sunday 6 April 2008: State Convention. 13 of 21 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders reflecting the support for the presidential contenders at the State Convention. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at the statewide level.

8 district delegates are to be allocated proportionally to presidential contenders based on the preferences among the convention participants as a whole. North Dakota has a single statewide congressional district.
In addition, 5 delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the preferences among the convention participants as a whole.
3 at-large National Convention delegates
2 Pledged PLEOs
The remaining 8 National Convention delegates consist of

7 Unpledged PLEO delegates:
4 Democratic National Committee members.
3 Members of Congress (2 Senators and 1 Representative).
0 Governors.
0 Distinguished Party Leaders.
1 Unpledged "add-on" (selected on 4 April at the State Convention by a vote of all the caucuses).
These 8 delegates and will go to the Democratic National Convention officially "Unpledged".

Just goes to show how differently each state does things. I didn't realize ND actually chose a super delegate based on their commitment to a candidate! One more for Obama is AWESOME! :bounce:

DemConWatch SD tally now at: Clinton 245 Obama 220

DRIP! DRIP! DRIP!

13. I just had to look up how far we've come
I don't think there's any site that agrees with another about who has how many delegates, but this site had an article from February 4th that said Clinton had 213 super delegates and Obama had 127.

So Clinton's gained 32 and Obama's gained 93 since then.

22. He's gotten seven more super delegates since April 1st
and Clinton has added one and lost two since April 1st.

There's 327 super delegates still undeclared. Obama only needs about one third of them to seal the deal. If he keeps getting them by ones and twos trickling in under the radar every day, that's fine by me. Slow but steady wins the race and all that.:)

17. Awesome!!!
And the supers as well!

This will do great as we head towards PA.

It looks like Clinton's tactics of trying to say they dont count and then having the gall to try to get them to switch their vote FAILED!!

Add that to the LONG LONG LONG list of Clinton FAILURES this campaign!!

18. That one uncommitted delegate is the goalpost!
The fate of the primary depends on whether Clinton can win that delegate!

That will determine everything! Spread the word!
