To all Democrats who can do math: Contact your superdelegate
Edited on Mon Apr-07-08 06:05 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd
Your member of Congress, your Senator, your governor. These are all superdelegates and if they are not already behind Obama, they need to be told in no uncertain terms that they must get behind the Democratic nominee NOW.

Let's stop talking about it and start doing something about it. It's as easy as logging in to your email. Get to Google and find your superdelegate's website. They all have one these days. Find the "Contact" link, which is sure to exist.

From there, you should be able to find the proper email address. Tell them to officially back Obama.

For those with more time on their hands, wikipedia has a nice list of superdelegates here. Many of them have their own wikipedia page. Click on their names to go to their wikipedia page. From there, you should be able to find a link to their websites (usually under "external links"), which, again, is where you can find their email addresses. In particular, you'll want to focus on the "uncommitted" ones before you attempt to sway the Clinton supporters.

Let's end this thing.

1. Especially in any State that's already Voted
under the circumstances there is just no excuse for letting this go on longer than necessary

2. You might also contact them and say that you're concerned that Obama would lose badly in the fall
and that, if the trend continues- it may well be your duty to deadlock the convention and choose a viable nominee.

3. The only way we lose in the fall is if the super-ds overturn the election.
Which they're not going to do. The primary is over, people.

6. That's your opinion
The nominating process isn't over until a candidate gets 2025. Let's just hope the one who does can beat McCain and the Republican machine in the fall.

There are quite a few folks out there who worry that Obama is taking us all down a primrose path... and there are reasons to believe that they may be right.

8. No, it's the opinion of the 70 superdelegates who've pleged to Obama in the last 2 months.

And also the highest elected Democrat in the country, Speaker Pelosi. And the large number of superdelegates committed to Clinton who are publicly saying that they won't continue to support her if she doesn't win the popular vote and/or the delegate count.

7. My senator is on board already
My governor on the other hand is humming along to "Nearer my God to thee" as he scurries around helping Hillary rearrange the deck chairs.
