balance out the judiciary at all levels, naming moderates and liberals to balance the RWers
end tax cuts for the super rich
reform and fund the VA, reestablish the GI Bill, improve support for military dependents
increase support for, and affordable student loans for, higher education
increase support for K-12 education, and get rid of No-Public-School-Left-Behind
work to reestablish international trust of U.S., and some of U.S.'s lost prestige
adequately fund services for the aged and disabled
raise or eliminate the earnings cap on FICA taxation, thus saving the Social Security Trust Fund
increase funding for scientific research, particularly via NIH and NSF
and many more

No, 5 things are just not nearly enough.
The Bushista destruction of America in the past 7+ years, and earlier GOP harm to our country, must be reversed by a thoroughgoing program of reform. We need a Super New Deal, a Greater Society, simply to heal the wounds induced by the RW, not to mention to make further progress for our country.
