If our candidate spends the GE hammering away at Iraq, McCain is going to lose.
What I was really struck by watching Sens. McCain, Clinton and then Obama at the hearings with Petraeus today was that John McCain simply does not live in the same world as the rest of us. I don't know if he really believes what he's saying, that The Surge Is Working(TM), or if he's just pandering, or if he's being the dutiful soldier, or what. But if that's going to be his main plank when he runs in the GE --- and I see no reason to believe it won't be ---- then it will be very easy for either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama to beat him.

All they have to do is say what the reality actually is, and keep hammering away at it through November, and we'll have a Democrat in the White House this year.

1. either Dem should be able to pound McNutjob on a wide array of things
war, economy, overzealous terror legislation.......

If we cant beat McWarPig we should disband the D party
