So let me get this straight...Obama stole the Hope theme from Bill, but then Hillary criticized his
theme. Wouldn't that mean she was mocking Bill's earlier run, then?

1. That may be the Catch-22 of having been in DC so long --
You can run on hope if you are (relatively) new/young, but if you've been in DC for a while, you should already have turned that hope into meaningful change. So, even if she thought about running on hope, she may have figured it was too hard a sell.

3. Nothing to get straight, you posted exactly what she did
what her little followers do each time they mock Obama's calls for change and expressions of hope.

See my journal http://journals.democraticunderground.com/merh/96

4. No
It means that she's got a tin ear and bad judgement when it comes to politics. She picked bad advisors and followed their advice. Also, if she hadn't picked the 3rd most liberal state in the country where they could intimidate any primary opponent out of the race with her fund raising connections from her Husband she wouldn't be a US Senator right now. Remember though she's the better GE candidate. Also even though she's rode her husband's coat tails into office she represents modern femnism and women like Kathy Sebielus who got their on their own are pretenders.

5. How will she be a better candidate in the GE

She won't make it there because she has lousy judgment, picked bad advisors, has run a terrible campaign, and one other thing, what was it ...

She LIES

Yes, she mocks Obama's campaign, which was not that much different than what Bill offered in 1992, that is what is so damned sad, all the hypocrites that support Hillary and defend Bill while mocking Obama and his supporters, calling them cult members. How said and disgusting it is that they don't remember what Bill used to stand for, what he once offered. And they would try to deny that hope to an entire generation of young voters that believe in the change and are willing to keep that hope alive and take a chance and vote for a man that inspires and encourages them. I almost want to ask both bill and hillary "jealous much" - that they couldn't get this type of blind faith for her campaign, that the luster of Bill has faded.

Defend her all you like, she has done more harm to herself than any opponent could do and those that have blindly followed have helped her demise, they are as judgmental, gloom and doom, arrogant and boring as her and her campaign.

6. As a 13th generational american on my mum's side, from the 13th colony
our state motto is "Hope."

So everybody since Roger Williams has ripped the "Hope" meme.

As if. . .he ever had "Hope" copyrighted.

This is a crazy premise.
