8. I remember Chris Rock's (as Nat X on SNL) description of bowling:
"I love the game. You get to throw a big black ball at the little white pins with red necks."

10. Wasn't it Obama's people who called him Apollo Creed?
They were making fun of Clinton for the "never give up" Rocky reference?

Kinda like this campaign is going.

21. So I am right--it WAS Obama's supporters, if not Obama himself, who made the reference. NT

22. I don't know - I was just pointing out the reference about Creed winning in the first Rocky movie
I don't who actually started it.

Be sure to watch Tiger go for the grand slam.

I don't think it was a big deal. tiger was dismissed by the pros back in 96 in spite of his talent.

So there is definitely a parallel to compare Obama with Tiger Woods. It also points out that Obama is the one to beat in November

19. Obama's campaign co-chairman compares his candidate to OJ Simpson.
http://www.slate.com/id/2181356/

on the night of Obama's victory, Jesse Jr. had this to say to the Washington Post about the inadvisability of Obama going negative against Hillary Clinton: "The natural reminder here is O.J. —how does an African-American candidate attack a white woman?

"I guess next they'll call him Michael Jordan."

That would've been better from Obama's campaign co-chairman Jesse Jackson Jr., to me at least.

Tiger Woods? Shit might as well as call him Wayne Brady. Samuel L Jackson? Ali? Harry S Truman? BESS TRUMAN? Does this ever end? :eyes:
