Obama Supporters! - Lets open a can of Whoop Ass on Elton John!
Edited on Wed Apr-09-08 11:09 AM by horseface
Its expected that tonights concert for Hillary will raise 2.5 million(lets hope shes pays clean up crew.) Well fuck Elton John! I say we one-up his ass! If each of donates $1 (one dollar) here on DU we will raise 2.6 million as there are 2.6 million of us here! Get your friends and neighbors to contribute too and we can make it close to 2.7 million(most of you dont have friends, I know). Lets do it! OBAMA!!!!

I'll lash out at him because his music is boring, overproduced, twaddle.

Oh, and "Sir" Elton is a self-absorbed knob who treats the local arena staff, caterers, limo drivers, etc like serfs to be abused.

I can't do it horseface. hey WE ain't the side that goes on and on about hating people who don't support our current candidate-leave that to the other siders-the FEW of them. Not all HRC's people are as divisive as say a Taylor Marsh, who will not even vote for the dem if it's not Clinton. I'm happy to report there are fewer and fewer of them saying that-now we gotta work on the Obama supporters who say they won't vote dem if it ain't Barack.

Oh yea,I have been listening to Elton's first album Empty Sky all morning

Ridiculous. He (Elton John) has a right to show his support for anyone he chooses. Better to fight for your candidate then fight the candidates supporters. This protracted primary is beginning to wear thin. Best of luck to all the Dem Senate and Congressional seats in play in November.

I like Elton John just fine, even though I don't support the same candidate he is. If this in an attempt to make Obama supporters look bad, I don't think it's going to work. We mostly don't hate somone just for supporting the other candidate. It's the Hilllary supporters who do that. :)

72. Of Course...
The OP doesn't mean it literally.

However, this kind of post is disturbing on so many levels. Why is it necessary to use such language as "Whoop (his) Ass?" Come on, grow up. Do you realize that we are all on the same team? The tenor of your OP reflects the kind of immaturity that is too often seen in Obama supporters. I can almost hear you saying that if we are not for Obama than we are just plain wrong. I don't support either of the remaining candidates. I think that they both putting the Dem party at risk in November for very different reasons.

Cut back on the "whoop ass" crap. Show some class by letting your rivals have their day. Learn how to be as humble in victory as you are in defeat. You might actually win people over to your way of thinking.
