I Want to Thank you for your Hatred of Each Other and The Candidates

For my College class, New Media and Politics, I have decided to do a project on DU, Kos, and Other sites and the animosity between supporters of the two candidates as a result of the longer primaries and the candidates themselves. So, keep up the hatred! And if you dont mind, Hillary people and Obama people, Id like to PM some of you to get your thoughts on specific questions.

College is much more fun today, I'd wager! Makes up for the absurd prices, maybe? Or maybe not.

There's a whole world out there that doesn't give a shit about these tiny little sites that say they have a million members, at least twenty percent of whom are sockpuppets and perhaps an equal number are people who signed up and either drifted away or were canned.

The animosity is not necessarily the result of longer primaries. You might want to check the relatively painless Kerry nom, and note the shit that was flung back then. Don't assume a cause without proof.

You might also want to note the "join date" of people who like to fling shit. Not that the "join date" is supposed to matter, but I notice the rudest fuckers are often the newest.

What could be the dynamic there, one wonders? An ignorance of the particular forum's netiquette, or something else?
