BREAKING NEWS DEAN ANNOUNCES PRIMARY PLAN FOR 2012
Edited on Wed Apr-09-08 07:36 PM by Jake3463
:sarcasm:

DNC Chairman Howard Dean after seeing the debacle of the 2008 primary season has proposed a new nominating process for 2012. Only states that have over 20 electoral votes and are either "swing" states or "blue" states will count to the nominating process. Florida will be given the first primary because everyone knows Florida is the most important state for anything. In addition to the states allowed participation there are new rules concerning how votes can be conducted. Only mail in winner take all primaries can be conducted and in order to participate you must be a registered democrat for 10 years prior to election date. "Only real Democrats should determine the nominee, and screw the youth vote. Never helps us anyway." Dean said to reporters when being questioned about the plan.

The most controversial portion of the Plan is the PA option. If the race is close (5% delegates)PA will decide the nominee because "you can't get to the White House without going on Pennsylvania Ave."

Representatives from the Florida and Michigan DNC were quoted as saying "Don't worry we are already planning on a way to screw this up by moving our primary behind PA in the next election."

Mark Penn the former Clinton chief strategist was seen dilligently taking notes on why this system was unfair to Hillary if in fact she is losing going to the PA option.

14. Are you really that dense, or just pedantic?
I find it insulting to have to be told what is humorous. A piece is either funny or it isn't. And putting a mandatory smiley on it doesn't change the fact.

I thought this one was clever.

4. I take this as a sarcastic post?
Right? I hope...

However, I do support the idea of rotating primaries to give small and less-represented states a chance to rise to the top at least every 4 years. I'd like to see Colorado among the first few states voting, although we voted in Feb (Super Tuesday)

12. And Iowa has announced that the caucus will be held in November, 2011
Which has prompted Florida to move up its primary to October, 2011.
